Silver Mountains

Geography

The Silver Mountains are high, rocky peaks that are always capped in snow that dominate the southern tip of Corynos. On the southern side the moist air from the ocean keeps the rocky foothills green, lush and well forested with tall, hardy pines and a myriad of deciduous trees. On the northern side the hard Pashtu Desert has scoured all but the hardiest of plant life from the mountain sides.

Fauna & Flora

Elk, deer, wolves, bears, and generally temperate range animals fill the forests and foothills on the southern side of the range. There are other, stranger beasts in pockets here and there as well.

Natural Resources

Precious gems and metals are abundant in the mountains, especially silver. Abundant forests also provide for a healthy timber industry to feed the need for ships in the Merchant Houses of Craw and Sandryne.
