Cade and Brant adopted her at the age of two after Cade and Dare slew the rampaging group of Jotunn that destroyed most of her home town, Oighearloch, and killed her family. She had nearly lost her own life to a giant, but Cade saved her in time (and she saved him back during the fight with her own time magic and there's dragon betrayal and dragon savior-ing). After that she wouldn't leave his side and even curled up on his hard, cold armor like a cat. It was Brant who fell in love with how she adored his husband and the parallels with their own love story. He decided they should care for the poor, tiny orphan. Trinny doesn’t know her real name; she was too little to remember anything but the nickname her family called her by. I don’t know it either- it will never be known. Maybe it’s Trinity, maybe Katrin? Who knows? It's kind of sad.
She grew up with Lynzee, Deimne, Bryce and Almas. When she was young, she was a little bitter that Diamine and Lynzee could use Plane affinity summoning, which gave them a connection her Dad, Brant, that she couldn’t have. She got over it- her dads completely adore her face off; they make it impossible for her to feel insecure about their love. Trinny and Deimne go together on their knight quest, which secretly is a mission between them to help Deimne find the magic to become human. Deimne never thought for a second to try and go without her; they have been getting into trouble together since the day Trinny came home. After succeeding, they travel to Renamos to meet up with Lynzee and Almas where Trinny covers for Deimne, selling his new identity as Fionn. For a little while she thinks she might be in love with Fionn, but she realizes it’s just adjusting to her closest friend being a (hot) man. I’m thinking that this does lead her to make some decisions in Cacumen though- sometimes you flirt through these kinds of problems with randos that make you feel pretty… She’s going to have a kid though, so I need to find someone really special for her. Unless she already loves someone… Or finds someone in Evestria, without even realizing it? After realizes and has to go back for him? Or maybe he turns up in Nemel looking for her and is there when they get home????
