Nidavir

Nidavir is populated by the Nida and located within the northwestern mountain range that the Rena live on top of; it is completely subterranean.
The cities of Nidavir all began as natural caves, but as they grew the expansions were caved into the surrounding rock. The first buildings are rock pulled up out of the cave floor and then hollowed and shaped into rooms. As the cities expanded beyond the confines of the natural cave, huge floor to ceiling columns were carved out of the stone and then hallowed into buildings.
That cave that would become Savarest was hollowed by the sea until it was diverted to a new, lower, reservoir carved under the original cave to prevent flooding.
Sanadine and Lapis have natural rock formations that were preserved and incorporated into the architecture.
