Demon

The denizens of the Hell Plane were dubbed "demons" by inhabitants of the Secular Plane, and they liked it so much they adopted the name.
Demon hierarchies are well establish, which mean they do not have much do on the Hell Plane. The demons set their sights off-world, and do whatever they can to move to other planes. It is possible for a demon to travel briefly, with enough support, but their general selfish demeanor make it unlikely. More often they brought elsewhere by fools looking for easy power. 
On Ereza, demons are able to twist Spirit Magic into Blood Magic and use it toward their own ends by drawing it from the blood of the Gifted. They sink their hooks into a host to maintain their presence, usually with promises of wealth and power. Intense use of Blood Magic can also create an easement between the planes.
