Adam's Cherry Tree

Describe a religious monument (built or natural) which people of your world wish to visit at least once in their lifetime: Adam the god of life's Adam- God of life special cherry Tree It is a myth from the world that adam's cherry tree gives eternal life, therefore was named after the god of life, who was born at the same time as the mortals.
It is said the tree watches over all life, and each leaf represents a soul in the world. While the first mortal and first elf was born, the tree/adam was too. At the first signs of wading faith, the gods realised that they needed a backup plan and imbued thier power into objects or items in the world. As @adam was already part of this tree, he created cherries that grew from the branches. The gods who wanted to honour the ultimate power with refrence, created 2 diffrent portals to connect with any plain, any diffrent world that the ultimate existance created, including the gods own worlds. The care of the portals split evenly among the gods, as with all things balance is required. Each god decided to protect them in thier own way, especially as they recognise that not every world that was created is one with the same rules. This tree was one of the 2 portals, the other being in Ryder's lake. To protect this particular portal, as it was already in a massive forest, created from the excess life energy that Adam radiated. Gia and Nia and Adam decided to work together to protect this portal. Gia, Nia mother and daughter and Danica bought creatures over from thier own lands, own plains as it were, and decided to meld the strongest 3 together, the leaders of the diffrent clans. Within Ryder’s lake, the gods decided on a different approach and created the Guards of Ryder’s lake, some of the strongest elves and humans united together. We know later what happened to them. Miranda also considering that this might not be enough, combined her powers and air powers to create a creature to guard the portal, a kraken. This portal was guarded successfully until the time of the great war, where all resources, especially those who are strong, were called away from the Guards and reissued as soldiers. After the great war, the ruling government, especially as the leaders who stepped up after this really did not like anything that they did not understand or feared all magic users, both created the New Hunters of Ryder’s lake and destroyed the portal. As the other portal is hidden from most mortal knowledge due to the choices of the Portal Guardians and Razpimus, a good choice really, the mortals did not try and destroy this one. On the other hand, the balance between the portals was gone, meaning that the portal in the tree was made unable to be used. Therefore, all the creatures from diffrent planes were trapped here unable to go home. This has caused many affects all over the world.
However, the Ryder’s Lake portal was destroyed by their team and the kraken angry with the mortals, attacked many of them and settled to the centre of the ocean, where he will only let those through he deems worthy by the goddesses. In the 20 years that has passed since the end of the great war, the Kraken has gained an incredibly negative reputation, especially in the Port towns and many whispers and rumours, including a massive bounty from the leaders of the Portia town even though it’s a beautiful, unique, magical creature. The Leader of Danica's world, the most devoted, a spider called Razmas, The Leader of Gia's lands, A giant crocodile called Spike and The leader of Nia's lands a lion called Septimus. Thier minds and bodies melded together from the power of the 3 goddesses to create Raspimus, given the title and a crown made of thorns, called the King of the Forest, later called the forest of lore, due to how many stories circulated around this place. As Nia had struggled to find a object to imbue her power into, the crown of thorns was perfect. The 3 gods told Raspimus the importance of this portal and that it should be guarded to make sure that other forces, especially evil elemental ones, from both worlds, including this one, do not pass without taking a test of sorts. They sent through a miriad of creatures, selected carefully from thier 3 worlds to populate the forest of lore and to help him and serve under this god, in case anything happened to him. The creatures had full descretion over who went and who did not and served all 3 gods equally. Over time they created a common language, called Aspen and lived happily together, sometimes devided into small factions but all peaceful to each other, due to having the same purpose. The crown stayed with Raspimus, especially as it contained both Nia's power and part of his own that the gods gave to him as protector of the Forests and The Forest Portal. One person, an extremely knowledgable person, i may add, had found out the hidden truth about these portals from one who had been judged worthy of crossing through them and back again. This person, an adventurer called Kopi, headed to the forest of lore to find out the truth about other worlds, so it could be recorded in the ledgers of his organisation. However, he was becoming powerful enough to attract the attention of many jealous people. One such person, a changling called Petraya corrupted by the influence of greed and power, believed that if they were to follow Kopi into the portal they could bring something back invaluable and become rich and wealthy and powerful. Therefore, the powerful changling killed Kopi and transformed into him, but did not realise of the protection that the forest of lore granted the portals. They killed many people that day, including the gaggle of Fairies who were on rotating guard duty and tried to kill Raspimus. He, on his last legs after seeing so many people die to defend the portal, nearly died himself but used the last of his power to serve justice and kill the changling, especially as the spider Razmus, was rebelling against the others, he being created to serve Danica, who had turned against her siblings and mother. This made him weak though, weak enough that he had to meld again with the closest person he could find, a child of the forest, Humpphrey. While melding, he fell into a deep sleep to gain his powers again. Humpphrey not knowing the importance of this artifact left it behind. Later another traveller, one, coincidentally ;) is the same Elf and secret follower of mysteria, also blade singer who taught Craff- who came to find the horrifying devistation while on her yearly pilgramage sorted out the funerals of the forest creatures and picked up the crown. Feeling its power, she took it home and gave it to the head of the druid clan of the order of the Spikey Rose, who has been wearing it since.

Sensory & Appearance

Its absolutely beautiful. It is a massive tree that radiates life from its branches. The area surrounding it, seems to be full of life itself

The purpose was altered to become a portal to multiple worlds.

Architecture

This is a magical tree. It seems to have a very strong celestial aura. The cherries from the trees contain the power of life and can technically revive someone. However the balance of the world requires a sacrifice and the death god will claim another as his own.

Defenses

Every creature in the forest of lore knows to protect this tree. Most are dead now but a new clan has taken over and they now protect the tree.

Tourism

The tree is in the centre of a beautiful forest village, filled with all sorts of forest creatures living together in harmony.
