The great Hero Aweia first Grandmaster of the Knights Keyori retired after nearly 1000 years as grandmaster vanishing from the public eye after naming a male successor Gwethain. Mos believing she died quietly some few hundred years thereafter.
The kings crown withered and was shattered, the royal family perishing along with it. The pieces of the royal crown are scattered among the Factions of Ethlandir awaiting the day they are reunited and it blooms once again.

The now fractured Keyori organization existed under the council of the 5 Grand Collars who vied against each other for the position of grandmaster many of them sacking the Keyori treasury to fund their campaigns. A number of them working under the support of one great house of Ethlandir or another
The great sorcerer Celeben Grand Collar of Logistics managed to lure the other Grand Collars into his enchantment during a meeting of the divided council, enslaving them to his will. The council voted him as Grandmaster unanimously thereafter, and he prepared to formaly swear the Keyori to the Esperithel kingdom.
The long vanished hero Aweia first Grandmaster of the Keyori revealed herself, and forced Celeben to flee.
Aweia passed on her title to a male successor Pelas.
After freeing the ensorcelled Grand Collars and executing 2 of them Aweia lead the remaining Keyori in slaughtering the occupying forces of the great houses in the Keyori headquarters. This launched many small and large scale battles between the order and the families both politically and militarily.
While sieged at the Keyori Headquarters Aweia with the help of the Archfey King Arthur snuck behind the enemy encirclement and killed the gathered generals of the 5 houses along with the master of the Auriel family for the crimes of attempted assassination and attempted destruction of the kings knights.
The Great Advisor stepped forward to end the conflict between the Keyori and the 5 houses, agreeing to fund the Keyori as long as they agreed to remain neutral to the politics of the kingdoms ever after. Aweia accepted the Advisors care and abdicated her position naming a male successor 5th Grandmaster Pelas.

Three groups of new Knight Companions did not return from the Pool of Cleansing. the Grand Collars along with Grandmaster Ruindolwen barred by ancient tradition from entering its sanctum created a new sanctum with a new Pool of Cleansing to carry out the ritual of raising a Knight 1st Class to Knight Companions.
Lamphoos the younger son of the Marid lord Lamphoos was slain by a Knight Commander of The Keyori Knights during a battle with his pet Dragon Turtle who had been rampaging on the southern coasts of Ehtlandir. Lamphoos claims that this was fabricated to assassinate his son and weaken the Marid's power. These allegations have sparked a great deal of tension and threatened the relations of the Keyori and all of the underwater factions.
