Martial Arts
The sects and clans of Yang guard their martial arts jealously starting from the building blocks of their varied cultivation techniques that allow their use. Each clan and sect has their own arts that are never to be shared with outsiders, and any who learn them are hunted to extinction. The country classifies their arts into three categories
- Earth Rank Martial Arts: These arts are as numerous as the clouds and only those that are requirements for more advanced martial arts are kept secret by their various keepers.
- Sky Rank Martial Arts: The power and fame of these arts vary wildly, some being the pride and joy of various organizations while others are considered hardly worth mentioning to skilled practitioners.
- Divine Rank Martial Arts: At this level arts become the joy and strength of whole organizations, even the chance to learn them draws new blood. Each of the clans has a collection of Divine Rank Arts that are never shared with outsiders and form the backbone of their strength.
