Lorchester Family

The Lorchesters can trace their line to the early days of Sasserine, at this point they are probably the second oldest family after the Lidu Family. However, unlike the Lidus they are not well like in Sasserine, often referred to as scheming bullies or just down-right criminals dressed as nobles. The Lorchesters control all the power in the Champion District from the City Watch to the Gladiators that fight in the arena everyone works for them.

Recently the Lorchesters have engaged in open debate about the ownership of Thunder River Lumber, saying that the Thunder River that the Taskerhills are using is not being taxed as well as proving a document that suggest that the Lorchesters own part of the land the river travels. This would by law entitle them to a portion or a tax on the logging company.
Other rumors circulate around the family such as being at odds with the Toregsons Family the rumor holds that it has something to do with the Smith’s Guild. Another rumor is that Braedon Lorchester is some how involved with the Gangs of the Dark Shore. However strong evidence was given to the Dawn council to dispute these claims.
