Lidu Family

The Lidu family is the oldest Noble House in all of Sasserine. They share a unique history with the development of the Noble District as it was their family founder who helped erect the Church of the Blue Star. During the hieght of the Golden years of Sasserine the family built and ran the House of the Dragon school, since than a Lidu family member has always sat as head master. They are not known for their vast wealth but known for their eminence roots that run though the city and beyond. Relationships with the other noble houses are in good standing except with house Lorchester, the two houses have near seen eye to eye. This feud between them is said to have started over 800 years ago when Varsh Lidu left her finance on the alter waiting as she ran off with a commoner. The man left waiting was Ben Lorchester and the family has never forgotten about the shame that was inficted upon their house. Today the family still thrives with the leadership of the family matriarchy, Ryanna Lidu. Ryanna toke control after her mother and father disapeared on a vogue to the Republic of Trine. Her son Jacob is a spiting image of his grandfather and a genius in the ways of the arcane arts. Ryanna and the other family members have made it their cause to restore the bond of the two great churches of Sasserine that was destroyed during those dark times.
