Erellion

Erellion refers to the planet where the Republic of Tirine, Hargu, Enessear, Elessean and Eiriond exist. Most people simple refer to Erellion as “the world”.   The main central landmass has formed a republic as a means to defend itself and accomplish greater feats than the individual city-states would be capable of. The Republic of Tirine is the strongest and largest organization in Erellion. The Republic of Tirine is the most civilized land and contains the largest cities. Each city is represented at the Grand Council held bi-annually in a rotating city while Tegel houses the permanent headquarters. Each city maintains independent government and rulers in their own city.   The republic is bordered to the southeast by the Realm of Hargu, a loose kingdom made up of Barbarian tribes led by a ruler who always takes the name Hargu as he is believed to be reincarnated from the original Hargu.   The southwest landmass is known as Enessear, or The Realm of The Ruby Orb. This unruly land is controlled by a band of nomadic humans possessing an artifact known as The Ruby Orb. Largely unsettled, the inhospitable land is rich in resources and potential wealth. This land is also the largest population of evil humanoid races (orcs, goblins, giants, trolls, etc.)   The Dragon’s Nest mountains lie as a divider between Hargu and the Republic of Tirine. It is home to the largest population of dwarves and the only significant mountain range. The dragons of the mountain range’s namesake have faded since the Ghulwar but are not extinct by any means.   Elves can be found in the forests throughout the lands, but the largest population by far lie to the edges of the world in the lands known as Elessean and Eiriond.
