Personal history

Born in Denwick to Jasper and Mirresh Wynn. Named after Kharos the old God of Magic, it was tradition on his mother's side to name their children after the old gods. His parents are travelling merchants, when he was but a young boy of 3, his grandfather on his mother's side Tarrick Jensen passed away.  His parents decided, the road not being suitable for a boy his age, to leave him in the care of Mirresh's mother Phoeboul to raise him. His grandparents had retired to Lumberfell a few years before.  His grandmother Phoeboul, being a retired teacher, had established a small library inside the townhall, which she was Librarian. Being taught by his grandmother, Kharos showed an inquisitiveness and intelligence at a very young age, learning to read and write by the time he was four.  Never one for physical activity, Kharos spent most of his time in the library, reading and learning, especially fascinated by history, magic and the old gods. One day he heard a commotion and ran to see what was happening. An older boy was screaming about a bright light and losing his sight. He learned that a man was injured and Fredagar, while tending his wounds, channeled an energy through himself and healed the man. During the process the energy blinded Fredagar. Kharos immediately began to talk to Fredagar about what happened and started to research. He read as many books as he could and noted any kind of similar occurrences.  He concluded that some divine powers are granted not by choice or by any single one deity and this is what had happened. During this time with his many visits Fredagar and Kharos developed a very strong friendship, with Kharos looking up to Fredagar as an older brother. The ability to cast magic was an obsession for Kharos, being named after the old gods, he read all he could on them and actually began praying to his namesake, promising to pursue all things magic and to make it his mission to keep magic alive in the world.  One day his prayers were answered...
