Personal history

Rhea was the wife of Cronos, and she saw her husband slowly become ever more paranoid, until he even became fearful of the idea of his children overthrowing him. After Rhea gave birth to her first born son, Hades, Cronos ate him. To Rhea's horror, he did not stop at Hades, but ever child Rhea had was eaten by Cronos.   Just before Rhea gave birth to her sixth child, Zeus, she aked for help from Gaia and Uranos. She asked them to ensure that Zeus was spared from Cronos and his ever growing paranoid wrath. Gaia replaced Zeus with a blanket full of rocks, which Cronos ate. Gaia and Uranos raised Zeus until he was old enough to want to overthrow his father, which he eventually did.   Unlike most of the Titans, Rhea was left unharmed by the Olympians after their victory over the Titans. Ever since then, Rhea has spent her time wandering from place to place, occasionally bringing it upon herself to raise orphans.
