- Accorsa, representative of the Sect of Faces, visits Mary and extends an invitation.
- Tart themselves up in preparation for attending The Yielding at Baroness von Dimian's court.
16th of Martyr (The Yielding)
- They go to the gates of the Golden Basilica for the ceremony.
- After the ceremony, Mary casts Person of Import to approach the Baroness, offering her services.
- A crimson flea tries to climb Ana's leg, but Naan spots and crushes it.
- She asks Ana if she seeks to destroy them, forcing her to answer that it is self-preservation.
- She asks them to come to her after dark to discuss it in private.
