Cycle of Years

Following the the moon Yolk, Corbel counts the years in cycles of three, a new cycle beginning when Yolk is new on the Spring Equinox. Each cycle is associated with one of the gods or with the Norns. Running through all six cycles three times marks a 54-year era. Eighteen such eras makes a 972-year age. This form of timekeeping dates back to the earliest days of Corbellus.

  • Cycle: Three years
  • Era: 54 years (18 cycles)
  • Age: 972 years (18 eras)
