Humans
- Humans recently came to this land from across the sea by primitive boats. They got lucky crossing the ocean and couldn't return due to prevailing winds and lack of knowledge. Their civilization is relatively primitive and they only have coastal hugging boats.
- They are divided into city states each with separate government. Most are ruled by a King and Nobles. The Nobles have estates surrounding the city state.
- Wizards and Sorcerers are feared and not trusted. Most Humans have no magical ability so they fear those that do. As a result, there are no Mage's Guilds. Most practice in secret so a young mage has a mentor and generally can only learn starting spells from the mentor's list.
