Stone Circles
Worship of the Old Gods has never taken place in grand churches or cathedrals. Instead, religious ceremonies mostly take place outside in sacred groves.
Most such groves are simple clearings in wooded areas, or perhaps even a small corner of a field. Sometimes, towns and even cities have grown up and the grove may be nothing more than a small garden.
The most significant places of worship for worshippers of the Old Gods are the many Stone Circles spread throughout Ettrea, western Viltland and the north.
Some stone circles are simple rings of small stones; others are elaborate multi-ringed megalith systems.
