Library Guard

The unit of High Elf warriors who protect the Second Library . Guards are usually, but not exclusively, from the Principality of Dimrillien. There are typically around twenty guards, led by a Captain. Being selected to serve in the Library Guard is a great honour. The guards are usually very skilled fighters, although it's not unheard of for a guardsman to have some additional skill in magic. When on duty, the guards typically wear elaborately decorated suits of plate armour passed down from guardsman to guardsman. They ride very high quality elven warhorses and fight with longsword and shield or glaive when on foot and lances or longsword on horseback.
