Celestial Glyphs

The written language of the New Gods . There are countless glyphs with individual, unique characters representing concepts that would be written as whole words, sentences or even paragraphs in other written languages. It is a written language designed to be learned and used by immortal beings. It is phenomenally difficult for mortals to grasp even the basics.
The lore contained in the First Library and the Second Library (and presumably the Third Library too) is written in Celestial Glyphs. High Elf Readers at the Second Library devote their lives to learning celestial glyphs and translating the library's lore into a form understandable by Scholars. Only elves, with their long lifespans, can hope to learn a usable quantity of glyphs.
