History

Located in the central part of Atenhotep is a small house where Anat Adel has healed the sick for decades. She had originally studied magic in GĂșl Lod Academui, the central magical school of Eraterna. There she found she had an affinity for healing injuries and sicknesses. Once she graduated, she traveled the world looking for new and unique forms of healing, including ancient magical tattoos of the cultures of Xuxin, major techniques surgeries from the Nohola Islands, and potent healing potions from the Gnomes of Elendorus. Anat decided that it was time to take her gift and knowledge back to her hometown and open up a clinic for the sick. She originally started to help the people around the farms of Atenhotep, their work typically leads to more injuries and hardships than anywhere else in the city. The quality of life of the farmers increased dramatically and word of her talents spread throughout the city. Lines of patients started to fill the street outside her house seeking medical aid from Anat. At this point, she had hired a few assistants to help with the scores of patients. In her off time, she would teach the techniques to her nurses, giving them the knowledge to effectively help anyone that came into her house.

Her life changed when one day during the annual meeting of the ambassadors, a sickness broke out among the attendees at the embassy. The illness spread quickly and at one point nearly all those in attendance had become bedridden and the doctors in the upper ring of the city were having difficulty containing the spread. Someone had mentioned that there was an amazing healer that tends to the farmers and workers of Atenhotep and that her great knowledge might be able to quell the plague. She was called up to see if she could do anything to help. Within an hour of observing the signs of the sickness, she was sending out her assistants to the various herbalists and into the desert to find the supplies she would need to cure the people. She combined the ingredients in her trusty cauldron in her humble house down by the farms. She infused her magic into the concoction she created and brought it to the sick people. Minutes after administering the potion the symptom of the illness started to subside and all of those affected made full recoveries. So thankful of all that she did, the ambassadors voted that she should be the official healer of the embassy and offered her a large clinic nearby. She said she would accept as long as she could still offer her healing services to the farmers, workers, and poor for free with the financial assistance of the city. The monarchy and the ambassadors agreed and Anat Adel officially opened Anat's Healing House.
