Lady Eight-Clouds

A somewhat notorious figure in many of the echelons of society across Eramon, described variously as a noblewoman, patron of arts, benefactor of adventuring guilds, parties, and individuals of dubious renown, and instigator of many dubious machinations.
No-one is quite certain of her true name or age, what noble house she might belong to, or where she is from, some declaring she isn't even truly of Eramon at all. She is known wherever she goes as a meddler who appears in unexpected places and seems to have vast knowledge not only of various events and incidents, but of everyone involved in them.
For her part, Lady Eight revels in her shady reputation and seems to take great pride in stoking confusion and mystery about her person whenever she sees an opportunity. A charismatic, enigmatic and whimsical figure, she has been implicated in numerous scandals and riotous happenings but seems to slip free of them with few to no repercussions.
She has displayed some unique abilities, particularly seeming to be able to come and go as she pleases no matter what restraints are attempted upon her person or the object of her curiosity. Some of her schemes have been noted to be both extraordinarily elaborate and to often have illogical end goals.
Physically, Lady Eight-Clouds is a tall blonde woman of remarkable beauty known for her coy, if sometimes unsettling smiles and penchant for elaborate gowns and the colours white and purple. She is rarely seen without a paper fan or a parasol and appears to keep a pet golden fox and black cat with her wherever she goes. Whether these are some form of familiars or simply pets is up for debate.
Serious magical scholars and people of renown in Eramon give Lady Eight-Clouds little time or thought, and many consider her simply a bothersome irritant or dubious charlatan, but few can deny that whatever her true nature is, it is surely more than she appears.
