Azeal

The daughters and creation of Taika, also known as succubi. While the other gods each created a race to inhabit the world, Taika created a race that carried her essence, the azeal. They are a race of beings that can change their appearance and shape. When they procreate, they produce an offspring of the same race as their partner. When an azeal dies, a new one is born. There is always a constant number of azeals in the world. The exact number is only known by Taika. The oldest of the azeal still remember the days when the gods were allowed to directly interact with the world and back then they often talked with Taika and learned why she created them. Many of the azeal enjoy taking things related to the other gods and corrupting peoples view of them. Many radical cults, such as the Cult of Pleasure, who follow Erutan, may have been started by azeals.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

If an azeal falls in love with a member of another race, they tend to imprint on that person. They can impart a part of their powers to that being. This is a slow process that will gradually give abilities to the partner. These partners become pure-blooded vampires. They have abilities far above that of the normal vampires, which they, in turn, can sire. This is the only way a pure-blooded vampire can be created. These pairings than to last until one of the parties dies, usually killed as neither azeal nor vampires can die of old age nor normal sickness. Revenge tends to swiftly follow.

Genetic Descendants
