Yamagati grows most of it's own food, but it's primary industry is as the major trade hub for the island of Ikuin. Most merchants that wish to buy or sell come to the city several times a year.
History
Settled in a time long since forgotten, Yamagati grew as trade routes sprung up around the island of Ikuin. Today it is the second most populated city, being second only to Shihon.
Architecture
Yamagati has many different building materials for it's structures. Most common is timber and andesite. Less common is slate and granite. One of the rarest materials is marble.
Geography
Yamagati has ocean to the west and plains to the north, east and south.
