Ikuin

A large island towards the eastern part of Eraikaar, Ikuin has been at peace for a long time and it's people know little of conflict other than the occasional bandit gang. With a history so old nobody remembers when it started, Ikuin holds a great many secrets it will share with those who look hard enough.

Structure

The Iku Tenno choses a citizens council once every 5 years that helps the Tenno rule his land.

Public Agenda

The Iku seek to secure safety and prosperity for temselves.

Assets

The Iku are well known for their small, but professional military. Their artisans are considered some of the best in the world for their unrivaled skill.

History

Having stood for a time long since forgotten. Many wonder if Ikuin is the oldest living nation in the world. Some of their language sounds different from the rest of the world, but not like elvish. They have peculiar accents that would suggest an ancient language long since forgotten was once spoken on the island. Some ruins have never been properly dated, so nobody knows how old they are, which could suggest that Ikuin is as old as the races that inhabit the island.

Demography and Population

Ikuin has mostly elves, making up the largest population on the island if one includes half-elves. Humans have made their way to the island and are a significant minority on the island. There is also a small amount of dwarves scattered across the west and south of the island.

Infrastructure

Ikuin's cities have a special kind of architecture that isn't seen anywhere else in the world. Some buildings are even made completely without nails or alike.
