  • Jute's Landing
    A large port city on the shore of the Moaning Sea in Nordwind. Seat of Lord Raynell Tresillian of Nordwind's Council of Nine.   The city of Jute's Landing is built into the cliffside on a particularly well protected harbor on the coast of the Moaning Sea. As such the geography of the city has dictated the districts with the more lower, more flood prone areas being inhabited by shipyards, easily relocated markets, docks, and some of the poorer inhabitants of the city. The upper levels, high on the white cliffs, are home to the nobility and wealthy as well as the more prosperous temples. You can toggle the elevation map using the layers button in the top right (looks like stacked paper).
  • Darjii Archipelago
    The Darjii Archipelago is an independent federation of islands in the Moaning Sea said to have been founded by a Djinn in the days before magic was given to mortals. Each island is ruled by a clan, who choose from among them one person to be put forth as the Pasha of the islands. The Pasha lives in the great central city of Varas Val and leads the Wake, which is made up of a representative from each island. Though the Pasha does not have a vote except in the cases of tiebreakers, they can veto decisions that affect the whole of the archipelago. The current Pasha is Berit Caskwillow from the island of Samni.    Any laws or treaties that affect the entire Darjii Archipelago must be made by the Wake, however, each individual island acts as an independent entity in the cases of trade agreements. As such, some are more friendly towards piracy, smuggling, and other questionable activity. Officially piracy is forbidden because it endangers the lives and economic safety of the rest of the islands.
