Olden Ruins - Khrukol

History

After the people of Tethuram (Gathuram of the Ancient World) evacuated from the sinking kingdom of Eranmount, they migrated west into vast lands of marshes and wilds. Settling down, they dubbed the land "Odulmount" - meaning Grand Swamp - and built great castles, fortresses, and cities. They used the harsh environment to their advantage, achieving victory over every siege attempted by other kingdoms. After the numerous victories, they changed their kingdom's name to "Kol Duluramodul" - meaning Immovable Swamp Kingdom. Their main challengers were the undead that came in through the catacombs underneath.

After Dissolution

The people of the now abandoned Kol Duluramodul split paths and set up their new homes in Koldorth and Dulam. Masses of undead took up residence in their place, creating a society aboveground for Fallen. They claimed the neglected castles and cities for themselves and lived without worry. The region was called by people of the Iron Realm "Khrukol" - Undead Kingdom.   Around 1538 Platinum Age, Elgas, a Dragonkin, invades the Olden Ruins. On the 22nd of Laroune, Zephos Dewarm and Daerel Foremaul fight against Elgas and win, however Elgas was left alive.

Disbandment

In 9140 Origin Age, a disease swept through Kol Duluramodul like an air-borne tsunami. The cause was a False God who roamed Tethuram know as the God of Decay. The disease he created rotted and corroded flesh and turned humans into undead. The swamps were where the infection thrived most, so the people who still lived abandoned the kingdom and travelled further west and southeast. The west forming Gathuram, Iron Realm and the southeast forming Ealorth as domains.
