Y'rithgar
Y'rithgar is a living legend in the north. The founder and king of the Kingdom of Caldersfyr is famous for the adventures he had in his youth and the powerful nation he's carved out in the north. A peerless warrior and ingenious tinkerer, Y'rithgar has a hatred for magic and especially the undead borne from the destruction of his village while he was still a child.
Y'rithgar is ancient by human standards, having extended his lifespan with the use of Potions of Longevity using his alchemical skills. Y'rithgar has reached the limits of such concoctions however and now anticipates living only a few more decades. This has resulted in a renewed interest in developing the technologies he thinks will be necessary to keep his legacy and vision alive after he passes on.
