Thackwidget

Thackwidget is the court magician. He has an impatient demeanor, and can seem rather gruff. Thackwidget has the gift of prophecy. He has begun to foresee the coming of a new powerful adversary.
While attempting an all-night prophecy ritual, with the assistance of various pharmaceuticals, attempting to get further information on the forthcoming menace, Thackwidget met his demise. Inali, who was keeping vigil (and drifted to sleep for only a short time), awoke to Thackwidget's screams in the darkness as a human-shaped entity emerged from a swirling portal, touching the wizard briefly, before retreating back through the disappearing aperture. Inali inherited Thackwidget's dagger and spellbook.
