Caer Welkan
Ancestral seat of Clan Welkan held by Serr Callan Martin Stewart of the manor (Motte & Bailey with a stone walled keep 50 ft high and 50 ft in diameter the courtyard at the base of the motte is 375 ft in diameter surrounded by a wooden pallisade and a moat outside that). B’ran Caradoc Welkan is rarely in residence however his wife is normally here. The village, surrounded by a wooden palisade, has 159 families of whom 27 are peasant families and 133 are stenix families. The current population is 986 with 641 of adult age with a further 128 people staffing the manor house.

The stone church here has a Canon who has provided for his followers for over 9 years.
he village can also be called upon to provide 27 Beliveiss /Spearmen, 10 Archers and 6 cavalrymen.
The household consists of 54 servants as well as a further 74 employees. The warband resides with the B’ran in Leon however there will always be no less than a troop stationed here consisting of 8 Ijeiss, 4 Areiss and 2 Elstash guarding the B'ran's wife and child.
