Tessachier (TES-a-KEYR)

Tessachiers, or known by their short name tessas, are four armed humanoid creatures with long, elven ears, and an almost monochromatic, natural color palette with each type. They're thought of as being huemoid spiders, as they have the ability to weave webs from naturally made silk their body produces, the multiple arms and having long fangs.
Tessas originate from Islaghet actually, having taken solace in the dry, arid land, but over time they became widespread across the planet, with them virtually everywhere that allows them to be. They're slightly taller than humans, being on average under 6'0-7'0 feet tall (1.8288m - 2.1336m), though many tessa have been recorded at smaller heights. They tend to congregate in their own communities, with many preferring their own species.   There are three types of tessa variations, with each of them vcalled golden tessachier, silver tessachier, and obsidian tessachier.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Tessachier are defined by their four arms that they have naturally, however they have the standard two legs, which are human. Their skeletal system is made up of a strong, calcium base like huemes as well, along with having a tail bone for their short tails.
Most full blooded tessa have either platinum blonde, white hair, or black hair. They also have exotic markings that cover their face, arms, legs, and toes, with the markings and the color of such usually dependent entirely on their race. The color orientation is essentially warm colors for golden tessa, cool colors for silver tessa, and obsidian tessa all have the same coloration.
Gold tessachiers will have a pretty pinkish-red fading to an orange color, with smooth markings, while silver tessachiers will have purple fading to purple-pink color with jagged markings. Obsidian tessa are the only exception as they tend to have black fading to red markings, as they're based off of the Black Widow spider. The leg markings are different from the arm markings, as they also share the same geometry from however the markings are on the face, albeit in the same skintone as the tessa. Silver tessa are very similar to water based spiders like the diving bell spider and controlling water as their element; this creators theories that silver tessa are a sub species of the crab waveborns. Regardless of the type of tessa, they always have blue blood.
They also have fuzzy skin, usually the fuzz being much more apparent by the end of their fingers or their toes. The digital pads on their fingers and toes allow for them to crawl up walls by catching onto the material with the small, hook-like hairs inside of the pads, which also make them very sensitive.
Tessa tails contain veins leaning to silk glands that allow for them to spin their webs. These glands are always at the base of their back, and tessa start producing silk once they hit puberty. A tessa is required to spin webs - otherwise they can end up getting silk poisoning, which is a unnatural and negative effect of too much silk fluid in their system. This can cause the silk blands to overflow and rupture into the blood stream, which can cause strokes, heart attacks and other issues down the line. Tessa can opt to remove their silk glands, but its very rare in Islaghet due to the pride of having them. Sometimes some tessas may donate the silk somewhere, which is crafted into a variety of things, like reinforcing buildings as an example.
tessa's eyes also glow in the dark, which can make for some pretty humorous moments of people looking up and seeing sharp eyes (sometimes of multiple tessa) staring down at them from the ceiling.   Tessa can also create "venom"; while its not actually venom, more of an aphrodisiac, its still given the name of venom for others not particularily familiar with tessa. The name for it is called vishanu. The only tessa that creates actual venom are obsidian tessa, which then is called vrumiya. There isn't really an explanation of why the venoms are separate, but there's a theory of it being from breeding with faeries

Genetics and Reproduction

Tessa genes are curious as they're one of the species that's offsprings don't have to look to be a perfect blend if they copulate with someone outside of their species. They either look full on tessa due to the physiologic appearance, or they don't, and there's no middle ground. This interesting genetic component makes it hard for people to be able to tell the  someone is actually full blooded tessachier or if they're only fractional - however, it is noteworthy that if a tessa hybrid and their legacy keep having children outside of the tessa bloodline, the traits noticeably decrease with each generation.   Tessa are especially interesting in that like having double arms, they have double the genitalia (except for breasts). It's determined that evolution caused them to produce more children because of how harsh Islaghet's environment was for them.   As for having children, tessa have live births and conceive their young through sexual reproduction. Gestation period is rather short, and usually lasts about 6 months on average for a tessa mother, and she can easily carry twins or triplets due to tessa's disposition to having multiple children. The mothers are very meticulous with preparing for child birth and will weave more webs on the walls and ceilings so that she may climb them and rest with her newborn child.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Due to the structure of a tessa's digestive system, solid foods are impossible for them to consume. making it that they have a completely liquid or semi solid diet. Their teeth are barriers to that of a solid diet, as well as their intenstines being formed different compared to other species.   Instead, tessa opt to drink fluids that provide all the nutrients that they have. These special drinks are offered at food banks for tessa to visit, and can come in a variety of flavors that allow for them to enjoy food without the risk to their health.   There's also the prospect of blending food up together but that may be time consuming and the specific texture may be a turn off to tessa as well.   Half-tessa, like Samara, don't have to worry about this, however. Typically half-tessa have normal teeth and digestive system, nullifying the aspect of them needing to be on a solely liquid diet.

Behaviour

Tessachier are known to be one of the most cleanliest species on Eon - they tend to be the ones always cleaning up after everyone and making sure things are sparkling once they're done. This cleaning behavior seems to be consistent even with tessachier that aren't full blooded - this can easily pass on down to 4 generations even when the tessa traits have all but disappeared.   Their temperment is usually very chill, and they can mesh along with any and all species perfectly fine, unless they so happen to get on their nerves over their cleaning regiment or are just inhospitable people.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Tessa's eyesight is relatively poor, which is why it's very common to see full blooded tessa sporting glasses - it's usually assumed that if they're not, then they're probably wearing contact lenses to avoid the hassle of them. Because they're practically blind, they rely on the fuzzy hairs over their body, digital pads and the long hair from their heads as extra sensory limbs to feel around for themselves and their environment. Their hearing is also very great, with their long ears being able to receive sounds from pretty far distances and rivaling the other species on Eon with accuracy. (Like Samara; usually she's reading using glasses, or any kind of text.)   And because tessa descend from Voidseeds actually, they're able to manipulate their hair in a prehensile fashion, almost like their hair is their own arm. This comes in handy for climbing up walls much more quickly, or scaling trees in unprecedented speed.

Civilization and Culture

Common Etiquette Rules

It's very common, and heavily encouraged, that a tessachier have inhibitors weaved into their hair through the use of their silk. Inhibitors are these beautiful, magical bangles, rings and hair accessories that always remain shining; they can be in either gold or silver depending on the tessa's preference. The purpose of these is to inhibit tessa's very strong abilities and help stabilize their bodies at a normal level from silk production, to elemental discharge. If a tessachier is not wearing these, not even one, it's common grounds to assume that they're not a polite - or even good - tessachier and will cause trouble/problems. This is usually seen in areas with lots of gang activity, or with high criminal activity as well. This doesn't necessarily mean they're god-like when they don't have inhibitors, but its a lack of respect for their body and other people of their kind.
