Iyl Enore

The city of Iyl Enore was once the capital of the Elven race in the eastern lands of Quroth. A City of pride and magic for the elves. It was reduced to ash and rubble at the end of The Slithering Strife by the grand arcanist Aram, who had visited the place years prior to the destruction as he used the Font of Tannyll to create a magical focus that would later cause the downfall of The Evening Star.
Its most notable feature was the Font of Tannyll which was the source of magic and power of the elves. The font allowed the elves greater control over the Wyrd and they were thus able to shape and sculpt their spells more easily than the other races. With its destruction, the flow of magic has been disrupted and the place is now a dead zone of magic. A city that had once used magic in its very foundation is now void of it, the very land seems to absorb the Wyrd that is brought into it. Travellers and treasure hunters have even claimed that their once magical items have had their enchantments removed, leaving but a mundane husk behind of what once had been an item of power.
Over time the city had seen various occupants after its destruction from the conqueror, to monsters, to the weary traveller in search of shelter. In recent years the elves have once again been seen around the once-proud city as they try to rebuild what was once theirs. For now, it is but a shell of its former glory and painful memory for the elven race.
