Lycanthropy

Lycanthropy is the virus that causes induvial to turn into a werewolf, if they don't die from the virus.

Causes

bite or scratch from a werewolf if unvaccinated

Symptoms

There are two forms of Lycanthropy.

Fatal and transformative.

Fatal Lycanthropy is when someone infected with a werewolf scratch or bite if not vaccinated.

Transformative is when the host is compatible and will turn into a werewolf

Fatal Lycanthropy

When Lycanthropy is fatal, the symptoms are primarily like that of an extreme flue

• Vomiting
• Fever exceeding 104

transformative Lycanthropy

This is when the virus mutates them into a werewolf

However, when it has a compatible host it will turn them into a werewolf the symptoms will be as following:

• Increased aggression
• increased hunger for meat
• Protective over property and family/friends
• "Nesting" as in they will rearrange a space where they can peacefully rest.
• More affectionate to partner(s)

Treatment

if fatal they are quarantined and given as much comfort as they pass

if transformative they are turned into a werewolf and if known they will have assistance intergrading into a pack

Affected Groups

Werewolves that are transformed or born are carriers of lycanthopy, but because they're werewolves they are only carriers of the virus.

Prevention

Standard vaccination against lycanthropy will greatly decrease the chances of being infection with lycanthropy.
