The Magistery
The Magistery is an immensely powerful, global organisation comprised of the most powerful and influential mages and alchemists. They are a centre of learning and research, yet rarely get involved in politics unless their interests are directly threatened.
While they have embassies in most large cities and capitals, they have no concrete headquarters or base. Instead, their leadership - the High Council - convenes through the use of long-distance voice and image transmitters.
