Ramerian Base
The Ramerian Base is a highly defensible military compound owned by the Ramerian Remnant that takes up most of the island's western part.
It serves as a place of Exile for the old Ramerian High Command, although only very few people know who exactly wiles away their time there. It has a rather decent population, including many civilians and it could be considered a self-suficient microcosm.
It consists of three civilian settlements, a supply depot, a military harbor large enough for proper warships and a castle complex.
The three settlements don't actually have names except for the designations of A, B, and C. The populace is mainly comprised of women and underage boys, since most of the men get drafted into the army to defend the compound. Those that do remain are either smiths or farmers, providing weapons and supplies to the army.
The depot has a very central position in proximity to the port, being heavily guarded at most times and mainly containing supplies from the war that are no longer needed for the smaller militia force present in the base.
The harbor is a lot larger than necessary for the size of the base, since it was designed with huge warships in mind. The Xingqin War saw most of these sink however, meaning that only smaller vessels weigh anchor there anymore.
Finally, the castle itself is almost inpenetrable: It is completely walled off and has a cliff-face seperating it with the sea in the north and west. Furthermore, any attacker would have to breach three baileys before arriving at the Keep itself.
