Aurillac

Aurillac is a small coastal village in Seekliff. It borders the (SWIRLING SEA).

Demographics

Of Aurillac's approximately 200 citizens, around half of them are elves. The other half is comprised largely of humans and half-elves, although there is a family of tabaxi and two halfling families.

Industry & Trade

Aurillac profits mostly off of fishing, although that alone does not make a very profitable market. As a whole, Aurillac is a largely self-sufficient community, and their true main industry is as a resting stop and market for travelers.

Points of interest

1. Vallée Spire: a lighthouse currently inhabited by the village's only wizard, a half-elf woman named Ada Vallée. The lighthouse was given a proper name when Ada purchased it.
2. Church + Temple of Aquilla: what it says on the tin. A church dedicated to the worship of the goddess Aquilla. The people worship here to wish good tidings from the sea and to wish that the goddess will give their village mercy.
3. The Mausoleum: an ancient mausoleum from before the modern era. A local historian tends to it, and anyone else is forbidden from entering.
4. The Shining Pearl: a tavern and inn situated near the north road of the town. It serves as the social hub of Aurillac and is where locals put requests for adventurers due to the town not having a proper adventurer's hall.
5. The Herbalist's: what it says on the tin.
6. Adeliz Chéreau's Home: the home of Adeliz Chéreau, the lady of the town. Travelers are forbidden from entry.
7. The Fishery: a rather innovative fish farm near Vallée Spire. They keep and raise trout here.
