Astia

The capital of Monstreng and home of the Nero family. Named after the goddess Astera, Astia is one of the largest cities in Monstreng.

History

Part of Astia was already built when the world awoke. Towering structures built of intricate stonework circle Lake Nero (to be linked). Since then, the city has been expanded to allow housing for more people and dinosaurs. more tbd

Architecture

The architecture of Astia is divided into two sections: the inner city and the outer city.
The inner city is comprised of large, ancient structures made of marble, brick, and concrete. These buildings are often white or gray with splashes of brass or bronze trimmings. Domed roofs and columns on walls are common.
The outer city is more modern and built less sturdy, but it composes much more of the city's area.
