One of the two majority cultures of Lavitica, specificially the Proteka. The people of the Protea are diligent, hard-working and technologically adept.
Dense Colonies: Protea are very pragmatic and practical with their designs in both their work and their life. Cities are often very cramped, but skillfully organized leaving little dead space. These densely packed urban centers provide insight to the Protea on navigating much of the civilized communities. Gain a +8 Survival (Urban). Protea cannot become lost by natural means in an urban environment.
Hardy Pioneers: Through perseverance and generations of experience, the Protea have developed a natural resistance to fire damage and survival skills in the harshest volcanic regions. Gain +8 Survival (Barren) and +8 Resistance (Fire).
Quiet: Due to Protekas’ natural lack of hearing, few words are spoken out loud in Protea colonies. Its inhabitants, while not having the best listening skills, gain a better focus on sight. Gain a +12 Sight, +6 Read Lips and take a -10 Listen.
Technological Society: The Protea live in a very advanced and progressive society due to their natural inclination for technological inner workings and design. The constant exposure to their engineering marvels grafts insight to its members. Gain a +12 Technology and a +8 to either Crafting(Technology), Energy Shield, Mechanical Riding, or one specific skill under Energy Weapons or Firearms.
