The men of the vales use large amounts of lumber rather than stone, but have a large blend between north-men and belgradian architecture.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
The most important time in the year for the Valemen is that of the Floodfalls, which takes place at the end of winter when the lumber felled in the cold can be sent down stream to the heart of the kingdom.
Coming of Age Rites
Most young lords take honor by felling a great beast when they turn the age of 14.
Funerary and Memorial customs
Body's are not buried in the Vales are they are in the lower regions of the kingdom, they are burned.
Common Myths and Legends
The mountain lords are to be ancient protectors of the vales that defend the northern boarder of the kingdom and once sworn a oath to the kings of southern Rusfrost, but no one has seen or heard from the Mountain lords in ages.
