The Ice Mountains

A vast range of snowy peaks and jagged mountains that block the frigged north-lands of Rufstar from the lush woodlands and plains to the south.

Geography

The Ice Mountains span most of the continent of Rufstar, acting as a shield and wall to the northern lands of mammoths and wildmen. The mountains are rugged and almost impassable except for a few passes and those only known to a vary few. The mountains themselves are divided among the major kingdoms of the continent, but the area is barely governed except for a few garrisons and villages, and such the mountains are often found to be filled with creatures of evil.

Fauna & Flora

Pine trees, and small shrubs that can survive the cold. many monstrous trolls and giants still stalk the mountains with great bears and goblins.
