The Sleepy Squirrel

This lively tavern also offers a few comfortable rooms. It has a very nicely carved and painted sign of a red squirrel sleeping with its tail curved around a bottle. Inside are tables standing in various nooks and crannies, a bar with an impressive collection of bottles and an open fireplace.
When serving food the owner Charlie often says "My drinks are good and my cooking is terrible. But don't worry, after I poisoned the mayor I hired somebody else as cook"

Smell of candlewax, polished wood surfaces, grilled meat and stew.
Large fireplace and candles on each table, windows with thick glass panes. Always cosy and warm.
The ceiling is a cluster of tangled polished branches through which Oscar the squirrel is constantly climbing and cavorting.
