Tide Guard Marauders

History

Created in the year 995 by Ryland Stormrider upun his appointment as a noble house, the size of the Tide Guard has varried in size from 15 to 100 members. In 1072, with the defeat of the forest peoples, the Tide Guard moved from fighting on land to fighting primarly at sea, protecting Seafall, from pirates. Due to this change they fight mostly as individual warriors in a marine enviornment. The current commander of the Tide Guard is Sayid, Captian of the Tide Guard .

Discription

These fighting men are personally appointed by the Head of House Stormrider as a personal protection force, currently serving Cedric Stormrider . Selected from strong men and woman of Seafall, or travelling sellswords that have earned enough favour to stick around. These warriors are well armoured with well forged chainmail and wide slopping helm designed to defelect light missiles. These Salt water warriors are armed with tridents, harpoons and nets to ensnare those that dare oppose house stormrider. Most of the time the tide gaurd is fighting agaisnt pirates, so the prefered weapon is one that can be thrown as well as used in hand to hand combat.
