Friar Gunnar

Upbringing

Brother Gundar is an elderly human with a long, flowing white beard that reaches his chest. His weathered face is lined with wrinkles, revealing the wisdom of his years. He is bald on top but wears a simple brown monk's hood that covers most of his head.

All that is known about brother Gundar is that he used to travel the land with a partner, who is not discribed, protecting pilgrams and peasants. On the last trip, his party was ambushed on the Crimson Pine Road and his partner was slain. He was wounded and left for dead. He was then found by monks at Amberstone Abby and became more of a scholar.

Story

He acted as a mentor to Nikor and awarded him his first real obsidian ring after the heroics at Raid on Vardent Hollow

He was then killed in single combat with Drakka the Broken
