Sofia Hondrou

Sofia Hondrou was born into  a fairly prosperous merchant family in Potamipoli. She never truly excelled in most of her endeavors, but she married well, helping the family's fortunes. Once married, she found herself bored with domestic life and turned often to literary pursuits to help with the household's finances. Her books never truly achieved notoriety, but she was eventually approached by academics from the University of Pegrama. She was hired as a ghost writer to assist in the ongoing updating of bestiaries in Alsona and surrounding regions, helping to make the books more legible for a larger audience. Hondrou was somewhat successful in these efforts, and she was brought on as a full time writer for the University. Eventually she died peacefully in her sleep of old age.
