Professor Nik Booras

Nik Booras is an experimental scientist with the University of Pegrama. He was born a commoner, but was constantly lost in his own world, studying the flights of birds and other creatures around him. His encounter with a monster as a child and the death of his younger brother gave him an intense focus on magical creatures and their effects on the world around him. His studies eventually drew the attention of a visiting tutor from the University of Pegrama when he was merely ten years old, as his studies demonstrated remarkable insight. Nik was brought to the University as a scholarship student, but quickly moved beyond learning from others to outright experimentation. He has been one of the foremost employers of the Alsonan Rangers and mercenary adventuring groups, attempting to bring back a host of dangerous monsters from the frontier back to his laboratories in Pegrama. Despite his young age, he has advanced Alsonan learning on the varied creatures within the frontiers far beyond its previous state.
