The Divine Imperators were once nothing more but humans, but through their mastery of the Legacy, they ascended to a position of power that of the Gods. It was the Divine Imperators that brought about humanities salvation, freeing them from the Outsiders who onced enslaved them all. It was the Divine Imperators who, through their love and generosity, created a divine refuge where humanity could live out its days.
