The Conflict

Outcome

As a direct result from the battle:

• Zolena and the Forsworn were sealed in the Evergloom.
• Saidin was tainted by Zolena.
• A near complete genocide of the Atlantean people.

Aftermath

The tainting of saidin caused the men who were channeling it to immediately go insane, turning on their friends and loved ones, as well as one another.  In the days that followed, billions more died and Atlantean worlds were set ablaze trying to contain the threat.  Atlantea was hit the worst by the fighting.  Kolros, in a final moment of lucidness, realized the destruction he had wrought and destroyed himself, taking Atlantis along with him, causing it to fall from the sky into the Atlantic Ocean.  Upon Kolros destroying himself, Excalibur shattered; Thadriel recovered its shards and ascended with them back to Celestia.

In the end, everything that was once Atlantean was lost, save about 5,000 souls whom Rhass led to Elysiar, where they settled in what is now Siln Allanar
