Session 3, The Plot Thickens in Kelvor's Thicket
General Summary
They day of The Coalescence began as quaint as many festivals in a small town. The fledgling adventurers spent there time at various activities with both Shangri and Gorthak winning a round of debates. Partway through the day the young Peryn Aebra stumbled back into town with the head of Oligithich, a seer in the area who had apparently been causing some trouble. After the group spoke with him, they noticed the eyes of the head were still moving slightly. As they tossed it into the fire, it came alive once more to deliver a final omen:
The group, not thinking much about the omen at the time went back about their business to finish their preparations of the influx of magical energy from the Coalescence. As each individual finished their own business, the town of Kelvor's Thicket was attacked. They watched townsfolk they began to know wither in front of them as a group of mages struck the town in search of the head of Oligithich. They saw the features of one mage, a Khrotti with white fur and deep sunken eyes, called Aurora Banecal. While they were ultimately unsuccessful, they absconded with Peryn Aebra.
