Session 2, Something Rotten
General Summary
Last time, the intrepid adventurers found themselves at the source of unrest within the Dreki Thicket, a cave that smelled of putrid decay. Exploring the cave they came across undead, slimes, and gnolls. After dealing with the lesser threats, they emerged on the other side of the cave only to find a profane ritual. They witnessed a gnoll shaman drawing the life from the captured villagers to hasten the transformation of their hyenas into true gnolls. After thwarting the ritual and killing the Fang Caller, the group managed to save one of the villagers, a young man name Taliesin. Making their way back to town with a wolfish escort, the Goddess of the Hunt awaited the group in her pool. She praised them for not attempting to take the hide from one of her chosen Rune Wolves, as well as cleansing the forest and so blessed each of them. She told them she know has her eye on them, pray they do not disappoint.
We return now to Kelvor's thicket, amidst the final festival preparations, and rumors are already spreading about your deeds, likely stemming form that boy you saved. You can't help but wonder where did Peryn Aebra run off to?
