You spark disorienting psychic energy into the mind of one creature you can see within range. The target must succeed on an Intelligence Saving Throw or take 1d6 psychic damage and subtract your Proficiency Bonus from the next Ability Check it makes before the end of your turn.
 
At higher levels: This spell's damage increases when you reach certain character levels.

  • At 5th level: The damage increases to 2d6 .
  • At 11th level: The damage increases to 3d6 .
  • At 17th level: The damage increases to 4d6 .
