Flower Nobility Party
Founded by Martell Drowick on the eve of the founding of Cornflower Burrow and the First Cornflower Judiciary in 1044, the Flower Nobility Party was created with the intention of preserving the nobility's dominance over the masses. It largely focused on the protection of noble property owners, however in time it became open to preserving the property rights of all individuals and lobbying for the protective rights of business and property owners all throughout Cornflower. It dissolved 1089 when a rift in the party became apparent as more and more party members wanted to expand on the rights of, independent, lower-class business owners while another half insisted on the return to roots as a nobility-centered organization.
Public Agenda
- Expand the rights and protective clauses of the nobility-class.
- Protect the rights of landowners, businesses, and farmers.
- Minimize the Judiciary Government in favour of the Monarchy.
Disbandment
In 1089 during a schism in the party, nobility and land-owning elite clashed over the principles of the party. The landowner majority sought to expand the rights and protections of lower-class citizens while the nobility wanted to further expand taxation of property to further monarchal power structures in the government. Ultimately, the nobility left the party and founded the Cornflower Monarchist Association, whilst the Flower Nobility Party, now full of landowners, farmers and merchants without any nobility, rebranded itself as the Guild of Retainence in 1089, fully shifting ethics towards a more conservative economic outlook.
