Soa
The Soa (a Wood Elf word for 'Filth') exclusively inhabit the Lost Souls Archipelago in the Sea of Suffering
It is not entirely known when the Soa became established or when they split from the Wood Elf community or indeed what triggered the separation, certainly it was pre Great Cleansing of Ellios .
Soa are similar in build and lifespan to their Wood Elf kinsfolk but the two groups despise one another. The Soa have also developed a reputation for being cruel though some more neutral observers might suggest they are misunderstood, certainly the Wood Elves are the most vociferous in their condemnation.
The Soa are exceptionally skilled in healing but also in the manufacture of poisons, they are known to use poison arrows and weapons, they also have some skill with the more aggressive forms of magic.
There are no exact records of their numbers, anecdotally figures put their population in the region of eight to ten thousand.
